Entry No. 288.

Joseph Potter. Bachelor. of this Parish.
Elizabeth Cresswell. Spinster. of this Parish.

Married in this Church following Banns.
By me Robert Barnaby . Curate.
On this Twenty fifth day of December
One Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty three.

Both Joseph & Elizabeth signed by their own Marks = + times 2.

Wit's:-  William Pa ? ?  by his Mark = +
Mary Potter. by her Mark = +

I did try and Sus it out but doubt if it was a William Potter
definite a P A.... then only another two letters.

Could have been Page but not sure enough to post that
