great grandfather in 3 regiment?

wondered if anybody could help me out with researching my great grandfather
this is all i know at the moment

driver Thomas halsey

01.08.1905 >20.10.1914 Middlesex regt

01.02.1915 >24.02.1919 Royal field Artillery

26.10.1920 > 11.12.1927 Royal Engineers (enlisted mill hill) 
No 1861424

if anyone can shed any more light on him or tell me where to look, it will be greatfully recieved
