Census / BMD Lookup pls

Hi - Can anyone help me trace a Lam ? Burton born Atherstone Warwickshire 1834 please. I see the family in the 1841 Census in Grendon Warwickshire - surname is mistyped as Barton -

Ann 1806 - Not of County
John 1806 Noc
John 1840 Warwickshire
Lam 1834 Noc
Luke 1837 Warwickshire
Mary 1831 Noc 

I believe the parents passed away as Luke was in the Atherstone Poor house in 1851 with a younger sister Ann.

The only reference I can see in the 1851 Census for Lam ( is this a real name ? ) is a Jam ? Burton bn 1834 in Atherstone - shown as a visitor in county.

After that the trail is cold - Any help or suggestions please ?

Also - can anyone spot John Burton  brn 1840 and Mary Burton brn 1831 after the 1841 Census ??

Hi Duncan,

I first thuoght of 'Sam' but looking at the 1841 image, I think it's Jane (it's in the female column too)

Most of those births are going to be before civil registration, You'll be looking at parish records.

Thanks all - I have found a Jane Burton marrying a Simon Parker in Atherstone - This could be the one ?

Still looking for John 1840 , and Mary 1831

Mary is a needle in a haystack, I'm afraid, given that we don't even know where she was born. 

I see John was christened in Grendon according to the IGI, so presumably born there. I can't see any John Burton born Grendon after 1840
