Delaney...can anyone help?

Hi,

I am trying to locate any info on Cornelius Delaney and Jane Delaney.
Cornelius was born c 1816 and Jane c 1818 and are brother and sister.
On the earliest census info I have for them (1851), they are living in Leeds, West Yorks, UK..are both Widowers and state there place of birth as Ireland.
Jane was under her Married name Farrell.
I have been unable to locate anything on them prior to the 1851 census, and have nothing to go on....

Can anyone help?

Hiya Colleen,

Have you tried Irish Ancestors Surname Search ? It might narrow the area of search. I cross checked the surnames Delaney and Farrell. There are nineteen large areas where these names appear in the same parish.
All I can suggest is if anyone is looking at the records of those areas and spots a Delaney or Farrell they
should let you know.
