However they are a little far back for me at the moment,but I will set them aside until I can get back beyond 1800.

I am having trouble linking together the Rapkin's who were around in Surrey with the ones in Marylebone.

I am looking for  Nae Rapkyng married to Cooper in Merstham Surrey, 1541.
I think Nae is a transcription error and it could be Agnes or Mary. I am looking for her parents and origin. Can anyone help me with this?

I don't know where you've seen it as Nae,but the Surrey marriages index has it as Mary.

Thats great, thank you! Are there any clues to her parents. I think the Rapking name may be germanic, however, i have seen variations of Rapking, Rapkin and Rapkynge.

Parents weren't mentioned on marriage certs until 1837.

You would need to try and find her baptism.
