3 soldiers - WW1 - any info appreciated
« on: Friday 25 August 06 17:14 BST (UK) »
Hello

I've put these chaps on the list for my next Kew visit which may be a while away, so in the meantime wondering if there is any information anyone could dig up in the meantime.  I know they all fought (though Frederick seems a little old for WW1?).

Philip Alfred Houghton born 1898
Horace Hilary Houghton born 1900

Frederick Alexander William Erickson born 1888

They were all born St George in the East, Stepney, East London.

I have a photo of Frederick and Philip but it provides no clues as only Philip is in uniform with no identifying features.

Appreciate any help.

Regards
Biker

Hi harribobs

You'll have to forgive that error, I wasn't being ageist honest ;)  Must have been thinking of his dad ...

Survive?

Horace definitely
Philip yes fairly sure

Frederick definitely (me married in 1915, had children in 1916 and 1918)

Cheers

Thanks for the Fred, harribobs.

Thanks for the 7 Horaces Annie.  Mine could just be the one on the separate page!!! Hahaha

I've been away from research for a while, so a bit rusty.  I guess I'll be busy at Kew.
