My 4xg-grandfather,
Joseph DANKS, was a very naughty boy. In 1819 he was transported to Australia for 14 years for stealing first some poultry, and then a horse. I have records of his trial and sentencing for both these offences, thanks to a very kind Rootschatter who went to the Records Office and copied them for me

Now, using the Warwickshire Records Office Calendar of Prisoners database, I have found reference to another offence he committed in 1817. I am hoping that someone will come to my rescue once again, and have a look for the relevant info in the records. The details are:
Reference: QS 26/2/121
1817, Michaelmas term, Warwick Quarter Sessions. Case #18
Offence: "Felony" [unspecified]
Sentence" Hard Labour 2 months
If anyone is planning a trip to the Record Office, I would be grateful if you could find and copy the info for me - the County Archivist says there will be further information within the records than that which is shown in the Calendar.
Thank you, in advance, for your help
