Parish Records Kelshall - CHAPMAN Baptism
« on: Sunday 27 August 06 23:14 BST (UK) »
Would it be possible for someone to check the entry in the Kelshall Parish Records for October 1852.  I  know that our James Gibbons Chapman was baptised there at that time and that his father was Samuel Chapman and his mother was Charlotte Gibbons Chapman.  What i would like to know is what the entry actually says.  Charlotte died in February 1852 and we would love to know if that fact is recorded on the baptism record.

Hi Trish,

I checked the Kelshall Parish Records and can confirm the 1852 baptism entry but regret there is no reference to Charlotte having died.   The only additional info that may be of interest is that their address is shewn as London and occupation Porter.

Thanks Peter.  Just thought that the parish registers might show some different information.
