Margaret McAlpin born Glasgow 1862 any look up please

I am tracing my family tree and my g grandmother was called Margaret Mcalpin, all I know about her is that on the 1891 census she is living in Stockport and is married to my  g granddad who died in 1899 and is  down as being born in Glasgow, Margaret's mother had the same name and died in Stockport in 1885, I can find no trace of Margaret after her husband Isaac's  death, until she  died in Stockport as Margaret Jones.

Any help most welcome

This was the only Margaret McAlpin(e) born in Scotland in 1862

Hi Capricorn

Thank you for the look up. I will try and check now to see if her mother was also Margaret, if  so we may be on a winner, as on the 1881 census it just says born Scotland.
