Hi I'm hoping to find someone researching WATTS.  I Have JAMES WATTS born 1841 in Scotland, I have no idea where but his wife was Catherine Scott Taylor and they married in 1864 in Newcastle.
Please contact me if you can help, Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa

What was his father's name and occupation off their marriage record? That would help narrow him down somewhat in Scotland!

Cheers

I do not have a marriage document.  He was an iron shearer, and his father was called James Watts
