Barlow- Colchester

I am searching for Thomas Barlow b.  abt 1798 (according to 1851 census), Colchester. I know nothing more about him before his marriage to Elizabeth Collison, 26.1.1821 Grimstone, Norfolk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Janet have you thought of contacting Colchester's Local Studies Library?  They may be able to help.  I have always found Local Studies Librarians to be fabulous - many of my best discoveries have been made with their help.  If no joy there, I should imagine the Essex Record Office at Chelmsford might be able to help.

I actually work in Colchester so if you come across any more info I may be able to help.
