Baptism - 1799 - Elizabeth GRAVES - COMPLETED
« on: Tuesday 05 September 06 10:00 BST (UK) »
Hi

Was wondering whether anyone would be able to help with the baptism details for Elizabeth Graves born c 1799 in Ulceby, Lincs.

I would really like to know who her parents were.

Thank you

Kerry  :)

There are two Ulcebys (at least) - I guess you're talking about the one near Partney.

There are a couple of burials at Ulceby which may be relevant

Jonathan GRAVES 19 Sept 1850 aged 85
Elizabeth GRAVES 8 Jan 1832 aged 66

It's possible thay were the couple who had 3 sons baptised at Hundleby in the 1790s (about 5 miles from Ulceby).
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

Thanks Geoff

That at least gives me a couple of names to work with and Elizabeth would be the right age to have a daughter in 1799.

Two Ulceby's - I need to study my Lincs map more closely and learn it!  ;D

Seems Geoff was on the right lines - pwitz very kindly yesterday did a check on the parish register and found Elizabeth baptised at Ulceby to Jonathan and Elizabeth.
