Can anyone read this medal card

Hi

Just downloaded my Great Grandads Medal card..and I need help making sense of the abbeviations etc.
His name was Thomas Edward Jones, and he was in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

I'm no expert but it looks like your G Grandad got 3 medals: the Star, Victory and British Medal.

He appears also to have served in Gallipoli during 1914-15

The experts will come in and keep right on the medals.  Here is the info for him on cwgc site:

Thanks for the help with the card, but the CWGC Thomas Jones is the wrong one..my G Grandfather was Thomas Edward Jones, not Thomas Esmor.

I have just looked at the medal card, and i think upi have looked at the wrong Thomas Edward Jones card
My G Grandads is second on the right.

Hi Colleen

Did your Great Grandad survive the war then, as he doesn't seem to appear amongst those who died.  Anyhow he still received 3 medals as before. it seems he arrived in France on 2 December, 1915. 

Also looks like he rose through the ranks somewhat from
Lance Corporal, then Acting Corporal, then appears  that he was commissioned (the word Lieut) .

He was alive in 1926 when his wife Mary Maria died, and was working in the Coal Mines by that time.
I was never aware of what rank he was...is that a good rank??
