1851/1861 Census Lookup Islington - Backhouse

Hi

Could someone please lookup John Backhouse in the 1851 and/or 1861 census. He was born in Clerkenwell about 1812-15 and was living in Islington. Wife Mary Ann. Will  have sons John (about 14) and Robert about 11 in 1851.

Many thanks, that is the family I was looking for. John the younger also became a clerk by the time he married. I wonder if a Decorator was something different then what with the servant there and the well off boarders. Mary A still had a servant in 1881, I thought at the time she must have just been staying with her
