If anybody has access to the above records could they please check for marriage details of Joseph BRANSON and Sarah HALL about 1809.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

a little more detail on Phillimores marriages - it describes the marriage as between Joseph Branston of Newark and Sarah Hall by licence

Nottingham University has marriage bonds and allegations online at

If you put Branston in the search engine, you will find your marriage on the second page. It tells you that Joseph was 21 and a bachelor, and Sarah 26 and a spinster from Rolleston on marriage. It also tells you that the bondsman was a William Birkett of Langford.

It takes a while to find your way round the searches but worthwhile. There are other entries there for Branstons from Langford.
