1901 census Robert MANTERFIELD

can anyone find my husband`s grandfather his name was Robert Manterfield he was born in Newark in 1895
He moved to Grantham when he was about 7 .
his address in Grantham was Grantely cottages,Grantley street .

If you have checked the marriages for Robert Manterfield there are two of them, maybe he was a widower before he married Emma or maybe it's two different people.  1881 seemed a little late but there is an Emma listed in the earlier one.

Really the only way to be sure is from the birth certificate of one of the children, maybe Georgiana's is the easiest

Hi my greatgrandfathers sister was Emma Lowe who married R Manterfield in 1881 in Newark does anyone have info on the Manterfield family who moved to Grantham

In the Grantham journal dated July 14th 1917 ,

there is a picture and write up about an injured soldier it gives his parents address as

9, Grantely cottages,Grantley street .
