More strange names
« on: Friday 22 September 06 18:20 BST (UK) »
I love to pick out strange and unusual names from the parish registers as I'm trawling through for possible rellies.  This is one I found yesterday in the marriage register for SS Peter & Paul, Charlton-in-Dover - have you got any more for my collection?

Zaph-nath-paaneah Drayson & Diana Davis, 29th March 1812.

Not one of mine!!  I bet she called him "Mr Drayson"!

Regards, Bill

I don't think I have ever found one to beat that Bill !  :o

Imagine calling him in from playing  :o He would have been home before his mother had finished his name  ;D and probably had his tea as well  ;D
