Trying to find the bap of Arthur Biggs 1904 Wirral, would like to find his parents please.
also the marraige of Arthur to ellen DOBY, belived to be in Bebbington  Cheshire. 1922 to 1930c. although Ellen was from Glasgow, Scotland, she married in cheshire. I have nothing on the DOBY family as being from Glasgow i find that difficult!
The Children of the above Arthur and Ellen were all born Bebbington cheshire, they would be a help to know also.

I think that your best bet would be to obtain Arthur's birth certificate.  From www.freebmd.org.uk:

Arthur BIGGS, Mar 1904 Wirral 8a 430

With this information you can order the certificate online from the GRO for £7.

For the marriage you could use the free BMD indexes at www.ancestry.co.uk - you will need to search 4 quarters for each year - when you find a likely marriage you then need to check for the spouse's surname and make sure that the references match, then you can order a certificate as above.

The marriage certificate should give Ellen's age, then you can post on the Scotland Forum for help to find her birth record.

Arthur's parents are:
James Alfred biggs b. 1868 Bebington Cheshire and his mother was Harriet hughes b. 1869 Bebington cheshire. Would it be possible to try and find James Alfreds parents, who we think is a William henry Biggs also of the above places.
St Andrews is the parsih church for Bebington and would love to try and find the siblings of Arthur and his wife Ellen biggs, from what i can find out they were all born in Bebington Cheshire, St Andrews Parish. Although i don't have a marriage cert for Arthur and Ellen, which i think took place at Toxtith Liverpool, their children were all born in Bebington.

hope someone can help and that this is not confusing!
