Sarah Riley and George Darlington

Could someone please do a look up on Sarah Riley born 1802?,  she married George Darlington 30 Dec 1820. Audley.  What I would like to know is if Sarah had a middle name and the name of her father.  Thank you in advance,  Norma

Hi Norma
Do you have Sarah and George in censuses? If not happy to post - they are in Bignall End surrounded by Rileys of an age to be Sarah's siblings and in 1861 she is listed as Sarah B.

Yes thanks I have the 1861 census and this is why I would like confirmation that she has a middle name and who her father is ..Norma

On the IGI there is

Sarah Barlow Ryley born 19 Jan 1800 baptised 16 Feb 1800 at St James Audley parents Solomon and Frances

Given the B in her name in 1861 and the fact that there is a Solomon Riley of an age to be her brother next door to her in 1841 and this couple did also have a Solomon in 1796 - I would say she is very likely yours. The other side of Sarah in 1841 is a George Riley - also given as a child of Solomon senior and Frances.

Thank you for your reply,  I had thought that this was the family but the B only shows up in the 1861 census, and I was curious as to whether it had been a mistake and that someone may have been able to see the marriage certificate or baptism to confirm it.  Again many thanks for the reply.  Norma
