GameKeepers - any records kept?

From reading a posting on another board I understand that the UK Gamekeepers had to be licensed.  I was wondering if anyone knew if the Gamekeepers in Southern Ireland (mine was in County Meath) had to be licensed as well? and if so, does anyone know if there is an index of some kind for Gamekeepers?

Thats a very interesting article eh!  I'm on the search now for where the nearest stamp office would be for Garretstown, County Meath and if I find  out anything I'll post back here...

Pat - your a gem! ... looks like even though this list for for the county and city of Dublin that counties outside Dublin were included as well - including some for Meath - very very interesting.  Thank you so much.  I'll have to do a bit of emailing and digging and I'll post back.  Many kind regards, Karen
