thats excellent suz...zipporah married robert walker in 1891 sept ..registered at ashton u lyme...pretty certain in 1901 they were in garston,liverpool(where i still live).my grandad daniel oakes was born 1900 and he married robert and zipporahs daughter martha walker...my uncle danny was their 1st born in 1924...regards...allan

hi suz...just checked dob`s and it looks like james henry and baby zipporah must have been twins...do you agree??  regards...allan

Daniel Oakes was in Liverpool 1901-but Zipporah was in cheshire

16 market St Mottram
Robert Walker 27 Hairdresser own account Hyde
Zipporah 25 Reeler in Cotton Mill Mottram
Martha 7 Broadbottom
RG13 3803 47 12

With Robert being a hair dresser you may be able to track him in directories

James and Zipporah are both in the birth indexes at the reference you have from Free BMD 7b 653 - so twins seems right!

thanks suz/heywood...don`t suppose you have any tips on finding anyone in argentina do you...tried directories etc and message boards..tried google....is there a geneology site connected to argentina....rootsweb only have a message board...just posted message,and the one before mine was dated over 3 weeks ago...doesn`t seem to get read much.....thanks...allan
