Chris

I wonder if you can assist me.

I am trying to trace the family (if any) of Ivy Vezey (nee Gray). I know that she married my grandfather Edwin Arney Vezey (born in Batheaston in 1897) in 1928 following his divorce from my grandmother Violet Woodmancie Annie Vezey (nee Hole) but do not know whether Edwin and Ivy had any children.

She would appear to be the same person as the Dorothy Ivy Vezey (nee Gray) referred to in your post about the Fries family.

Are you able to help please?

Stuart

Stuart your marriage March quarter 1929
Has an " Iris M Gray " with an Edwin A Vesey on page
Bath dist.  vol.5c p. 923  http://www.freebmd.org.uk

there is a Birth Dec 1930 using mother surname Gray / Bath /vol. 5c  p.675
You would have to pick up the birth cert to prove it is your family....and I didn't add child's forename as she may be living. Sorry to have hijacked your thread, bolton.

Thank you very much for this.

I've located the Vol 5c p675 entry for D AI Vezey born late 1930. She will be a half-sister to my mother.

I shall now see if I can find out more about this lady eg whether or not she is still alive.

Stuart
