Little Downham Church

My paternal family have been through Little Downham church many times for various occasions.

I just stumbled across this terrible news story and thought that I would mention it - thankfully, it seems that only a part of the church has been damaged but I'm sure that it will have a serious impact on the parishoners. Of course, it could have been much worse.

That's terrible. My great grandmothers family-the Bidwells were from Little Downham although they seem to have been mainly baptists.

We operate an open door policy at my church, which is appreciated by hundreds of people each year so it is a shame to hear of such an action. I hope whoever is responsible is quickly brought to justice as genealogists along with many others would hate to see churches locked whenever we want to visit.
