Fitty,

You had a look at STONES in Leeds for me earlier.  Please can you have a look at  Gordon Street, Holbeck  to see if the Stones are there?  I reckon this lot from the 1881 census fit the bill.  Walter is within age range for beng age 20 at marriage in 1887.  William is a tool smith (mechanic)

William David STONES, age about 20, mechanic/tool turner/iron smith
born New Wortley

Wife Esther STONES, age about 20
born Holbeck
