trying to retrace my white family from b,ham

daniel white born b,ham in 1921 first quater
mother was mary e neale who married thomas w.white in 1919 july quater
the marriage index says they were married in castle w can any one sheed any light on this area for me please

daniel married in 1942 to rose e tuffin

I think Castle W is short for Castle Ward, a registration district in Northumberland:
