OSBORN Death after 1851
« on: Tuesday 17 October 06 01:22 BST (UK) »
Could someone help with this.

Susannah OSBORN (nee Law)
b. Bletsoe
Ch. 1786 Knotting
Father William LAW
Mother Pearcy LAW (nee Mitchell)

Susannah was living in Thurleigh in the 1851 Census.

I would like to know when and where she died.

                Thanks,  OSBORN ???
I am sorry but my emails are not longer working.

Thurleigh on the NBI only goes up to 1851, so it's a case of checking the GRO indexes, which you can do easily yourself.

You can either use http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl which is not yet complete, and I can't see her, but I haven't used all spelling variations; or you can check the images quarter by quarter (it's free, you just need to register) at http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx

It's time consuming and a bit of a chore, but that's genealogy for you! It's not all exciting work, but at least you're not reliant on others

Regards

David
