« on: Thursday 19 October 06 20:37 BST (UK) »
Hello

Alison has very kindly found a Grace Lewis on the 1841 census, can anyone try and find her on the 1851 census for me please?  She was born about 1800 in Somerset.

Details as per 1841:

HO107/970/12
Park Street  Bath Walcot  Somerset.

Grace Lewis  40 f.s.  b. in county
Hannah Ship 50 f.s   b. out of county

Thank you
Ewan

Hi Ewan

I can't see her on the 1851 census but freebmd has a possible death in December 1/4 1841 in Bath district. :(

Hello Bee

Thanks for looking for me, I did see that death entry in the Bath district, that could be the Grace Lewis that Alison found.  The Lewises that  I am looking for were from the Axbridge area of Somerset and there is a death of a Grace  Lewis in 1850 - Axbridge district.

Now to find a Grace Lewis born before 1800 in Somerset.

Many thanks again
Ewan
