1871 Look-up please GRIFFITHS Herefordshire
« on: Saturday 21 October 06 15:23 BST (UK) »
Hello, please can you help? I am looking for Aaron Griffiths in the 1871 Census, born approximately 1864.

I have found him in the 1891 and 1901 census for Merthyr Tydfil as follows:
1901 - Aaron Griffiths aged 38 born Hereford [coal miner]
1891 - Aaron Griffiths aged 27 born Herefordshire [collier]

His marriage certificate from 1889 gives his fathers name as Thomas Griffiths, occupation ?Deadman/Readman

with best wishes
MarMnkly :)

ScRoppers
this information would tie in with an Aaron Griifiths from the 1881 census aged 17, ag lab from Presteigne in Hereford. I've just checked multimap and they are not far apart.

Looks like you've found a link for me!!

thanks very much for your help
