Well my ears were burning as I strolled where the "mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea".
Have been in County Down. Visited PRO Northern Ireland in Belfast twice. Found what I was looking for each time, within 20 mins... but not for me for someone else.
(PRONI allocates a "host" to each visitor, who sits you down and invites you to outline what you are after, then takes you by the hand to the appropriate part/machine/film etc.)
I intend doing CRO in Woodhorn week after next.
And as the plane flew in from Belfast yesterday afternoon, I could see Cambois (and Cowpen) clearly below us... ( plane flew past N/C airport, out to sea, then turned round to land against the wind... a very bumpy ride with gale blowing.... )
To lighten the moment for other passengers, I pointed out Blyth Links cemetery below... not my cleverest comment !
