Is anyone researching the Pinkney family in Yorkshire? I would like to hear from anyone who is a descendant or ancestor of this family. My earliest record is of Richard Pinkeny born abt 1822 in Hull. He married Sarah? believed to be from Cleckheaton Yorkshire. Children of this marriage were: Richard - Sarah - Margaret - John - William and James. I have them on the 1861 census for Leeds, address looks like Leaper Street. This is the earlies record I have but can trace the family to the present day, not all the family members but enough to prove that they are my ancestors.
