Hi David

Fantastic news, yes, Elizabeth was living with her daughter Charlotte at 10 Britonside or Bretonside,Plymouth in the 1951 census apparently a widow at that time.  The interesting fact with that was that Elizabeth herself came from Warrington,Cheshire (this is only around 20 miles from where I live )! She had obviously remarried as her surname was that of Fowls.

So, I thank you very much indeed for your time and trouble on my behalf, much appreciated.

Hi David

Thanks again for your time and trouble !

If I can take you up on your kind offer that would be nice.  Unfortunately for me I live just within the boundries of North wales (around 5miles from the City of Chester).  I now how hard it is doing parish research, but Richard Bridgman is my maternal great/great-grandfather.  My great-grandfather also Richchard moved from Plymouth to Bristol and then up to Chorlton in Medlock (now South Manchester), and finally settled and died in Liverpool, hence my birthplace was Liverpool.... strange when you tend to think 1800-1880 as just horse and cart era.

Again, thanks for your time.

Take care

Fran

Hi David

Sorry to intrude when your daughter is poorly and I hope she will recover soon.  Whenever you are back to your research if you have time I would be grateful.  Take care

Frances
