1841 Leeds Census Request HQ107/1348

Can somebody please check the details of a John Fox and Alfred Fox (aged between 12 and 15). I would like to know the details of those in the house - I think it in School Street.

The film refernce for School Street is HQ107/1348 Book 5 Folio 50

or HQ107/1348 Book 6 Folio 53-55

I'm not sure of the house number - it may have been number 19 (?)

Hi,

I had a quick look but half of page 50 (Book 5) is not readable and they were not on pages 53-55 (Book 6)  The address looks like Scott Street not School St.

These discs are terrible and very hard to make out.

I've had a look too, it definately looks like Scott St to me too.

I can't find any Fox's on either of those references.

Can i ask where you got them from?

Here is the actual images at 100%  I can magnify it but it would make it bigger and hard to post.  If you want any part of them magnifying let me know which bits and i'll do that for you.  I've taken the inages into a graphics programme and tried to enhance them slighty to make them easier to read.  This is a very poor copy i have of the 1841 and the best i can do.
