I tried to post this as a reply to yours of 1 Oct. but couldn't get it to go, so I hope you see this.Did Hugh and Jane have any children between Bella in 1890 and Jeannie in 1897? This is a 7 year gap. Perhaps they had children who did not survive.I found them in the 1901 Census in Pendleton , Lancs.with Jessie(Janet)13, Isabella(Bella)11,Elizabeth 9, Jeannie 3,& Hugh 3Mths born in Manchester. I met Elizabeth(Lizzie) Jeannie and William who was born in 1903 after their return to Falkirk. I also met Margaret(Maggie) & Alec (could be Alex or Alexander) but I never met or heard of Hugh. Did he survive? I hope so, they had 4 girls in 10 years before he came along! Can you help me with any more birth or death dated for these people?
