« on: Sunday 29 October 06 09:19 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone help me? at the end of the 2nd world war my mother used to live in riverford Cottage Plymbridge Woods Plymouth. The cottage is no longer there it's just a wall. Is there anybody who know's where there might be pictures of that area in the middle fourties? Thanks Raa

Hi
You could try the Local Studies Library in Plymouth who have a vast collection of old photos.  Their e-mail address is

Hi

My inlaws used to stay in a cottage at Plymbridge in the 1930's wonder if it is the same place, I have found this web address with some pictures of the surrounding area: http://www.bbc.co.uk/devon/outdoors/walks/plymbridge_woods.shtml.  Hope to go for a walk there this weekend.
