Jersey Marriage Lookup c1890 please

Hi,

I am looking for help regarding a marriage the possibly took place in Jersey around 1890.

The people involved were Edgar Montrose Townley (born c1858, Hampshire) and someone called Ada. I'm afraid I don't have her maiden name, but census forms show that she was born in Jersey around 1865-70.

They lived in Hampshire, but I can find nothing on BMD for a wedding, so I am guessing that they married in Jersey.

Any help appreciated.

That should give you Ada's maiden name.

Edgar Montrose Townley was married at St Helier register office, between Feb 1886 and Nov 1889; page 51 of the registrar's index for this period. 

The only person on that page called Ada was ADA WOODS.
