Hennery O'Connor
« on: Friday 03 November 06 11:21 GMT (UK) »
Apologies for the limited information here but I'm trying to find a Hennery O'Connor, originally from Ireland (possibly Dublin or Cork) who emigrated to Australia (New South Wales) from England (Cumberland) in the late 1940's to early 50's (circa 1948-1952).

Mr. O'Connor was born circa 1914 and came to live in England to work at Calder Hall (now Sellafield) during the early 40's (1940-45). As far as I know he lived in the Whitehaven region of what was then, Cumberland.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Confused

You haven't put your request on the right board, but i am not sure where it belongs.

Are you trying to trace him before arrival in England?  Or after he emigrated?

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Hi Arranroots

Probably after he emigrated.

The details of his hometown are sketchy hence the reason for leaving the county blank.

thanks for the help

Regards
