could any anyon`s from the wirral contact me...looking for ancestors of my 3x grandmother ellen anyon b 1819 in neston...her parents were Thomas Anyon and Elizabeth Standish  both born neston abt 1789....ellen anyon married Thomas Oakes b 1818 from neston....regards....allan oakes :)

Hello just noticed you post from a while ago my family are from neston an two Oakes live with them ? I use Genes Reunited do u?

Welcome to Rootschat.I either missed the original post or I hadn't found my connection to the family then.I have a Miles Anyon in my Tree born in Neston in c 1857.He married my relative Selina Roberts at West Derby Liverpool in 1901.

mother susan....so I have checked further back ...
Miles Anyon (the father ) - his father was William Anyon b 1822 a younger brother of Ellen Anyon who married Thomas Oakes...my 3 x g grandparents

yeah thomas anyon was born about 1791
an married elizabeth which was born about 1795

thats handy to know do you pay for Genes Reunited ?

but i dont think i can access someones to see yours.is there any other way to see your tree ?

Cheshire R O have a typed transcript of the Churchyard at Neston so it would be possible to look up any Anyon graves. There is a plan in the transcript of the Churchyard which is quite easy to use.
Also Cheshire has an online Old Parish Register project which may help you going further back - it is free to use.
