thankyou for replying  my grANDMOTHERS NAME WAS MARY SHE MARRIED A CHARLES WELLS IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA.  I AM SEEKING ANY LIVING RELATIVES IN IRELAND AND AUSTRALIA, THEY CAME FROM KILLURAN OCALLAGHANS MILLS, COUNTY CLARE,  I SEEM TO BE HITTING A BLANK WALL EVERYWHERE I CHECK.

I was checking the NSW (Sydney) BDMs and could not find the marriage you have mentioned. I did find two marriages for a Mary Droney
837/1866  CANHAM  JOHN  DRONEY  MARY  SYDNEY 
5446/1894  HANNON  EDWARD  DRONEY  MARY 

There are 2 children born 1902,04 in NSW to a Charles Wells and Mary.

I also checked the AVRI (covers NSW,VIC,WA and Tas to about 1900) and could not find a marriage for Charles and Mary Droney.

thank you for replying trish,my grandfather was charles wells and g/mother was mary or maria droney they have on some records as maria, the had 4 children nicholas (my father) mary,patricia and john
as far as i can tell mary/maria had a brother patrick and sister honora droney out in australia as they sponsored her out. many thanks for your help i appreciate it
