An easy way to search pages!!
« on: Friday 12 November 04 23:52 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,

Just in case anybody does not know how to search a page full of names.

If you press "control  + f" together - enter the name you require and it will search for it - doesn't work with .jpg pictures tho.

Saves a lot of time searching directories etc

Cheers
Keith

Keith,

Good Tip thank you.  :)

Another way to access the Find facility is to Click Edit at the top of the page,  and select Find on this Page.

Another good tip: If you are doing a Google search, use the "cached" option to display the page. This will automatically highlight the words you searched for in the document. All you have to do is quickly scroll down and find the reference!!

Easy!  ;D

To use the "cached" option you must click on the bit I have highlighted below, NOT the regular hyperlink
