I'm trying to find any members of the Smallwood family, based in Liverpool, everton and bootle.
My great grandfathers sister, Ellen Coogan, married Charles Smallwood in 1927, in West Derby reg.district. They went on to have a daughter, Ellen A Smallwood, born in same reg.district in 1928.
I've been told they ran at least two pubs in the Liverpool area, one of which was the Pineapple, in Bootle, and the other pub, on Liverpool docks, during the second world war, was I think the Lord Clive
? Although I can't be sure on that name.
