1841/51 census STROOD in Kent
« on: Saturday 11 November 06 13:32 GMT (UK) »
Dear listers,

I am looking for a Luke BROWN [b about 1838] in Strood, Kent...possible parents: Luke & Jane?

I would like to confirm this [or otherwise] and learn a little more about them...I am sure they would have been fairly poor [?]

cathy   :-\
Bedfordshire: Worker [Flitton]; Ames [Kempston]; Manton [Kempston]; Morris [?]; Valentine [Kempston]; Two & Osborn [Cranfield]

Herfordshire and West London: Brown [Kent in early 19th C]; Blackwell.

It might be worth mentioning that I've had trouble getting on Medway Cityark (both yesterday and today although it was ok early this morning).  I wonder if increasing traffic is causing the problem :-\

Thank you so much...was Luke & Jane still alive in 1891?

I am out of my depth in Kent!
