Hi Dave,

No you don't owe me anything, I was glad to do it - it has given me the opportunity to learn how to look up stuff in the Archives. So far my research has been done by following a couple of names and dates from my grandma before she died and questioning my mum since! Everything else I have done on the internet.

A couple of people on this site have done lookups for me so I am pleased to be able to do it for someone else.

It's a shame there was not any more information for you from the records.

I know this is an old posting but just to let you know that the address should read Edge Hey Green (a road of weavers cottages) which is in Colden but still comes under the parish of Heptonstall. It might (or might not be) of use later- I used to live at a farm just down the field from the cottages- ahhh happy days!!
