Marriage 1863 All Saints Newcastle
« on: Monday 20 November 06 14:09 GMT (UK) »
The IGI has an extracted record for the marriage of John Small to Elizabeth Barwick, 31 August 1863.

Would anyone who can access the parish register please look for me to find out the names and occupations of their fathers?

Much appreciated!

Jan

Carole, thank you so much - that is absolutely brilliant!  ;D  I didn't realise the Vital Records had that sort of detail. What info does it give for other records, please?

The Vital Records Index is births/christening/marriages only.

Births/christening info is the same as you find on the IGI but marriages post-1837 have the fathers names and sometimes the ages of the bride & groom.  It can also show if it is a second marriage

It is a mini version of the IGI but sometimes has records that are not on the IGI -hit & miss really
