Llanwonno Parish church completed with Thanks
« on: Tuesday 21 November 06 10:17 GMT (UK) »
Please does anyone live near St Gwynno Llanwonno Parish church? I know there is a Grave there of my 2x Great Grandparents, with a head Stone. It is near the church itself. My late Uncle wrote down the MI for me, but I would love a photo of it before something happens to it. I am willing to pay the person for doing this for me.

David John son of David and Catherine Lewis died Mehefin 14 1883
Also Catherine wife of David Lewis died Ebrill 27 1885 aged 40
Also Daniel son of David and Catherine Lewis died Hydref 11 1886 aged 18
Also David Lewis died Tachwedd 3 1914 70.

Thank you

I'm not too far away from Llanwonno (8km (5miles) as the crow flies, but nearer to 17km (11 miles) by road).

I would be willing to take a photo for you next time that I am in that area - might pop up there one weekend with my 2 1/2yr old; take him for a forestry walk to give his mum a break for an hour or two.

Do you have an approximate location of where the grave is located ?

I finally had the opportunity to visit Llanwonno and was able to take a couple of photos of the headstone for you.

I have reduced one to a size suitable for posting here, but have a number of others that I shall e-mail to you.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address & let me know if you are on broadband and able to accept large images, or if you want me to reduce the file-size for a dial-up connection.
