Lynton parish registers

Can anyone help me with details of 3 Lynton marriages between 1740 - 1790?

I have the dates for the marriages and bride & grooms names, but would like to know if there are parents details on the register.

If anyone could help I would be very grateful

Dear Delyth,

you will not find parents names in marriage registers before 1837 and after 1837 its only the fathers name and occupation that is shown.

You would be better off looking for the baptisms.

Hi Debbie - didn't think of that   

However one i'm after is to check on the brides surname as i have a feeling its been transcribed incorrectly on the igi, as i cant find anyone else of that name in the area at the time!

so if some kind soul could help out....!!!
