I keep coming back to my Thomas Devine and without much luck....
Do hope SKS can assist.

I am a descendant of Thomas Devine: He was training as priest before he
started challenging the landlady about rents.  His punishment was 7years
to Tasmania in 1845.

born in Cavan  1821 (town not listed although is it Templeport? seems likely)
sisters were Catherine b 1823 and Anna b 1825
Parents were Peter Devine and Mary Unknown m1820?

I realise that records are quite sketchy but any snippets will be much appreciated.
