1901 census lookup please

Could some kind person please do a search for the professions of this father and son.  William Urwin 49 yrs widower and Thomas son 14 yrs.

The first word is definitely cartman. The second word is in a diferent hand and I think reads 'carm.' This word appears on several subsequent pages, often after the occupation carter or cartmen, always added in a different hand.

Sorry I meant the 1891 census he had Cartman at Gas works
