Hello  :)

Looking for William & Phoebe (Giles) Wood in Tonbridge.  Children:
William 1819
Elizabeth 1822
George 1823
Jemima Ann 1828
Robert 1830
Mary 1834
Harriet 1835

William was deceased by 1848 when Elizabeth married Richard Haines in St Pancras.  Don't know about Mary

That's odd, 'though.  On Elizabeth's marriage cert in Oct 1848 it says that her father William Wood is dead. ??? 

I wonder if I'm chasing the wrong family (not mine!)?  Her witness was Harriett Wood so it all seemed to fit together and I had found her birthplace on her son's NSW birth certificate and the other the christening information in the IGI  :-\

not a lot of help :( this is the only Elizabeth Wood in Tonbridge in 1841

Elizabeth Wood aged 20, born out of county.  She is one of three female servants to the Manners' family.
