Millers
« on: Thursday 21 December 06 18:18 GMT (UK) »
I am an absolute beginner  as  far as Irish research concerned. My father had four Irish born g grandparents all of whom married in Birmingham  (England)  in the mid 1850's to early 1860's and I am really struggling  as where to start. One has as her father's occupation on her marriage certificate as miller. Would a miller appear on Griffith's valuation?
