Farquhar Sinclair was an Agricultural Labourer and worked on many farms.
Those being, Barstilby Farm in 1841 census, in Midkelton in 1851 census , Drumglass farm at Balmaghie in 1861 census and Rascarel in 1871 census.
He certainly had to go where there was any work to be had.
I suppose I really need not know the position of Burnfoot but I was fascinated by the name and wanted to mark the area.
I see that the Kells Parish Church in New Galloway - A Church of Scotland was built long before 1863 and may have been the one he married in.
I spent yesterday sticking many maps together to try and get an overall picture of the area. I will keep looking.
